Traditional Submission Format

All stories should be in a .doc or .rtf file.

The font should be Times New Roman (or similar standard serif font) at 12 points.

Paragraphs should have the standard .5-inch first line indent and line spacing should be set to double space. Please do not use the tab button, but instead set your first line indent by using the formatting feature under "paragraph" in word. This is also where you can set your line spacing. Please do not manually add returns to the end of each sentence.

Scene breaks should be indicated with extra line spaces or a bullet or number sign.

There should be NO html coding.

Page numbers should appear in the top right corner.

Your last name and story title should be in the header. This is done by clicking on the "insert" tab and then choosing "header."

The top right of your first page should contain the following:

Author’s legal name
Author’s pen name  - Optional. (Please note: If you choose a pen name, chose one appropriate to traditional publishing.)
Address
E-mail address
Word Count
Genre
Prompt number(s) used (if submitting for the anthology)

And the end of your story, you may include a short (no more than 4 sentences) bio, in which you may include your homepage, MySpace or Live Journal address if you wish them to be published.
